2023 Ford E-Transit Cargo Van
When you want to reduce the carbon footprint of your business, the 2023 Ford E-Transit van is a fully electric vehicle that gets the job done quietly and efficiently. It offers various configurations to match your business needs.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2023 Ford E-Transit van promotes your business in style and demonstrates your green credentials. You can choose from a low, medium, or high roof and a regular, long, or extended length body to suit your needs. The standard 50/50 rear doors feature 180-degree opening, but you also have the option of 253-degree opening. The E-Transit comes standard with a passenger-side sliding door.
Out on the road, the grille makes a dynamic first impression with its chrome surround, three striking blue center bars, and central charging port. The van comes standard with rain-sensing wipers; short arm, power-adjustable mirrors; and 16-inch steel wheels with full silver covers. Alternatively, you can opt for 16-inch silver or black alloys.
Engine (Power)
The E-Transit's fully electric powertrain features a rear axle-mounted electric motor paired with a high-voltage 68 kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery pack to generate 266 horsepower and 317 pound-feet of torque. Power is delivered smoothly with the single-speed transmission.
Performance
With its near instant acceleration and agile handling, the E-Transit is easy to maneuver around the city streets, while its smooth, quiet ride makes light work of highway driving. With the low roof, the van has a demonstrated range of 126 miles. The medium roof and high roof vans have a projected range of 116 miles and 108 miles respectively.
For charging, you can have chargers installed at your depot or home with software that enables you to track charging events. You also have access to the Ford BlueOval charging network, which offers more than 75,000 chargers across the country. With the mobile power cord and 240-volt connector, the E-Transit can be fully charged in 12 hours, while the Ford Connected Charge Station will fully charge the van in around 8 hours.
Interior
Inside, the E-Transit's two-seater cab offers a stylish and comfortable environment for your working day. As standard, it comes with vinyl seats, but you can opt for cloth upholstery. Depending on your van's configuration, the E-Transit has a payload from 3,330 to 3,880 pounds. With the available Pro Power Onboard, you get a 240-volt outlet that provides 2.4 kWh of power to operate and charge your tools.
The Sync 4 infotainment system features a 12-inch touchscreen and voice recognition. A built-in navigation system is also available. You also get Ford Pro E-Telematics, which helps optimize the vehicle's run time. You can warm up the cab while the van's plugged in to save battery charge for driving. A range of pre-installed shelving options are available to optimize the storage in your van.
Safety Features
Helping keep you on track in the E-Transit are roll stability control, side-wind stabilization, and hill start assist. It also comes with a suite of driver assistance features that includes forward collision warning, pre-collision mitigation with automatic emergency braking, post-collision braking, a lane keeping system, and automatic high beams. Available features include adaptive cruise control, automatic reverse braking, blind spot assist, front and rear parking sensors, and active parking assist.
