2023 Ford F-150
Few vehicles have the long and impressive legacy of the Ford F-150. Not only is this pickup truck iconic, it is also capable and accommodating. Perhaps you're looking for a work truck, or maybe you want a bold commuter car. The 2023 Ford F-150 can even be used as a family vehicle, so consider what this pickup truck can do for you.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
For 2023, the Ford F-150 comes in eight trim levels. These trims are XL, XLT, Lariat, Tremor, King Ranch, Platinum, Raptor, and Limited. The XL and XLT trims are designed as work trucks, while the Tremor and Raptor are made with off-roading in mind. If you're looking for something that leans more on the luxurious side, the King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited trim levels are for you.
The F-150 is celebrating 75 years of success in 2023. To honor this incredible legacy, car buyers can purchase the Heritage Edition. This limited-edition version of the vehicle comes with five different two-tone exterior paint options, exclusive 20-inch wheels, and a white "75 years" upper-windshield logo.
The F-150 also comes in a new Rattler Edition for 2023. This special version of the pickup truck is made with the off-road in mind and comes with black dual exhaust tips, Rattler box-side decals, fender vent badges, 18-inch dark-painted aluminum wheels, and all-terrain tires.
Engine (Power)
A 3.3-liter V-6 engine sits under the hood of the standard Ford F-150. This engine generates 290 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque. If this engine doesn't speak to you, the F-150 is available with several other options. A 2.7-liter V-6 engine is an upgrade that produces 325 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. You can also choose the 5.0-liter V-8 engine, which generates 400 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. The F-150 even comes with a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 engine that can produce as much as 400 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
When properly equipped, the maximum towing capacity of the 2023 F-150 is 14,000 pounds. Additionally, the pickup truck has a maximum payload of 3,325 pounds. While rear-wheel drive is the standard setup of the vehicle, four-wheel drive is an optional upgrade. Some higher trims come standard with four-wheel drive as well.
Interior
The 2023 Ford F-150 is an incredibly versatile vehicle. Car buyers can choose from three cabin configurations when picking a pickup truck. The regular cab option has a front-row bench seat that can accommodate three, while the SuperCab extended cab comes with two rows of seating for up to five. The SuperCrew crew cabin also can seat five, but legroom is more generous.
In addition to cozy and accommodating seats, the cabin of the F-150 also comes with an 8-inch touchscreen on the dashboard that is compatible with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and the SYNC 4 infotainment system.
Safety Features
